What search facilities does REVIEW have?
(Updated for R37) A: REVIEW has several FIND commands to search for specific data. The search can be case-sensitive or case-insensitive. Picture mask codes can be employed for generic searches. Whole records may be searched, or just one column, or a column range can be specified. The search may be forward or backward. The search can start from the current location or an extremity of the file. Records containing the data may be excluded from the display or the only records displayed. The data to be searched for may be a specific or generic character string, or specific hexadecimal data, or a specific SMF record type optionally including sub-type. Text search matches can be restricted to cases where the text prefixes a word, suffixes a word, or is a word.
