How to recover a chair?
As long as the cushion under the current fabric is in good condition, it is simple to recover a chair. Carefully rip off the old fabric or if you choose, you can recover right over the top of the old design. Stretch your new fabric over the chair and staple it on the underneath side, into the wood of the chair. Make sure to keep pulling and stretching so the fabric is nice and straight and smooth. Once all the edges are securely fastened on the bottom, turn your chair over and admire your work.
