Does the lab school offer childcare?
The lab school is not set up to offer childcare to families, neither before- or after-school childcare, nor during school hours. One of the major roles that the lab school teachers play is to serve as a Mentor to senior undergraduate students who are completing weekly practicum placements as a partial requirement for Dr. Vernon’s Psychology 3462E seminar class, Issues & Methods in Early Childhood Education. The teachers meet with the Psychology 3462E students for a half-hour before school and a half-hour after school several days per week.
