How does the card deposit work?
Lift passes in the Niseko Ski Resort are plastic and credit card sized. You should place them on the left hand side of your body for the electronic gates. A deposit of 1,000yen is added to the ticket price on purchase. The deposit is refunded when you insert the lift pass into a refund machine, which are located next to the ticket booths. There are no refunds for damaged cards. Similiarly, if you lose your pass, we can replace it, but you will lose the deposit.
