How did great depression had started?
Firstly, this is the wrong category… you want ‘primary and secondary education’. Just because it is called the depression, does not mean it is a mental health issue. The great depression in this context is in fact a huge economic slump and large levels of unemployment. Secondly, I will try to explain. I took GCSE history last year, and got an A. The Treaty of Versailles put a great economic strain on Germany as it was forced to pay large amounts of reparations payments since it was deemed ”responsible” for the war. Because of this, the German economy began to fail. Then, the wall street crash happened in the US. This led to America recalling all its loans from Germany, which of course put them in further debt. This was most definately the most important factor contributing to the Great Depression. You can read about the wall street crash here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcs
