A – The Adjudication of claims under Part E follows the same process as those under Part B. DOL has four District Offices located in Cleveland, Ohio, Denver, Colorado, Jacksonville, Florida, and Seattle, Washington. These offices will be responsible for the adjudication of claims and the issuance of recommended decisions under Part E of the EEOICPA. If the claimant disagrees with any part of a recommended decision, the claimant has the right to submit objections to the Final Adjudication Branch (FAB), in writing, within 60 days from the date of the recommended decision. The claimant may choose between an oral hearing, conducted near where he or she lives, or a written review of the record. In either case, the claimant has an opportunity to present further evidence or argument to the hearing representative who makes the final decision. Once FAB issues a Final Decision, the claimant may request reconsideration by the FAB, which must be filed within 30 days from the date of the Final Deci
