I really like to slug it out with my friends by playing WarCraft and some of the other popular PC based computer games. Am I allowed to play these games through my ResNet connection?

Sure, we at ResNet realize that you live in a residence and need to vent your frustrations in a somewhat positive way by playing one of the popular computer games. Although we don’t have any real restrictions to keep you from doing this, we do ask that you limit your game play hours that are outside university business hours. Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Why? Basically you are sharing network bandwidth with your fellow UAH students and Faculty/Staff members, so it only makes sense to be a good steward of your own network usage. Remember if you are using a lot of bandwidth for your game or download, you are limiting the amount of bandwidth available to other ResNet and campus users.
