Does Tocoman support IFC files?
The answer is yes and no. We do not directly support IFC standards, but our solution enables the user to utilize them. We extract quantity information from multiple modeling applications (e.g. Autodesk products). Typically all the major modeling applications provide a solution so that the building information model can be imported into it from an IFC file. This feature enables Tocoman users to utilize IFC models in their model based processes. There is no need for a separate Tocoman IFC solution because it is already implemented by the customer’s modeling tool.
