Is paper made from paper trees?

0

Any tree is a paper tree! Acres of trees are cut to provide Americas’ paper needs sometimes leaving acres of clear cut stumps and tree litter covering the landscape. The logs are transported to a ‘paper mill where the bark is removed from the trunk of trees. The resulting log is then shredded and the shreds are put in a huge heated vat of bleach and other products. The resulting stew is pressed and rolled and made into paper. This is a very big business comprised of huge factories that cover acres of land and results in harmful toxic fumes that often pour over the countryside in Virginia. The smell is terrible and contributes to respiratory illnesses. The run off from the operation poisons streams and continues to harm the condition of the Cheaspeake Bay in Virginia.
