Probably because he and brother Bobby were trying to kill Castro and Castro got him first, or because JFK took mob money to help finance his campaign and upon winning his brother Bob, who was appointed Attorney General, launched a war against those who helped him get elected, i.e. Cosa Nostra.

Oswald was a would-be Communist; and JFK opposed Communism (especially in Castro’s Cuba). More to the point, perhaps, Oswald wanted to do something memorable; in that, at least, he succeeded.

There are many conspiracy theories regarding the assassination of United States President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Such theories began to be generated soon after his death and continue to be proposed today.
