no it is not as you can see clearly by just looking at your missal. it says that Hallelujahs are omitted during Lent. The only thing that doesn’t count on Sundays during Lent is observation of the required fast of one meal and two small snacks a day with meat only eaten once during the meal. Fasting and temporal work is the only thing that is not observed on Sunday. I have even heard the sorrowful mysteries recited on Sundays during Lent. We also say the stations of the cross after Mass on every Sunday during Lent. But then again I go to the Latin Mass, pre Vatican II pre 1962 and we are far more traditional and far more in tune with Catholic doctrine and dogma.

Although it is used as an expression of great joy, “Hallelujah” simply means “Praise Yahweh.” Seems to me there’s no problem saying it during Lent.
