What is R-3 Zoning?
R-3 is the City’s multi-family land use designation which permits from 12-24 dwelling units per acre. In order to develop more then 12 dwelling units per acre, the project must be designed with a variety of amenities which may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Child care facility • Paseos and trails • Community owned courts, tot lots, putting greens, pool, recreational complexes, exercise trail, dog park, lake, skate park, etc.
