What is Ariel for Windows?
Ariel for Windows is an innovative document transmission system from Infotrieve. Using commercially available hardware, the appropriate Windows operating system, and Infotrieve’s Ariel software, users can scan articles, photos, and similar documents, transmit the resulting electronic images through their LAN over the Internet to each other’s Ariel workstations, or e-mail them to properly equipped e-mail accounts, and print them on any printer supported by Windows, preferably laser printers. The system, which is optimized for Internet transmission, is faster, more reliable, and less expensive to use than fax and produces images of greater resolution and quality.
