Who founded Teachers Without Borders?
Dr. Fred Mednick founded TWB to provide teachers with the collegial support and network he first envisioned when he was still a young student. He has continued to refine and fulfill that vision throughout his life, first in his capacity as a teacher, and then as a principal, author, professor and social entrepreneur in areas of community development, education, innovation, and technology. Inspired by the expertise, vision, isolation and goals expressed by teachers he met worldwide, Fred founded this organization headquartered in Seattle, WA, United States of America.
