What is the nazi regime?
In politics, a regime is the form of government: the set of rules, cultural or social norms, etc. that regulate the operation of government and its interactions with society. To give you examples on the regime would mean taking ideas in isolation which doesn’t really work, but common elements of the regime may be; continued propaganda, zero tolerance for other opposition political thinkers of sympathisers, boycotting of certain shops/businesses. The emergence of the SA and its later disbandment The activity of the SS under Himmler – responsible for the arrest/deportaton of many germans who did not conform But the regime also cultural elements – days of celebration – they celebrated the anniversary of the Munich putsch, theatre, arts and leisure were all actively supported under the nazi regime as long as the artist etc concerned was of germanic ancestry and/or of racial conform.
