Keepers must apply electronic devices but it is up to them to determine whether they wish to record information electronically. The cost of equipment to facilitate electronic reading varies according to complexity but is expected to reduce over time. Estimates of potential costs will feature in the Welsh pilot interim report (April) and consultation documents (May).
