Q: Are Quaker Old Fashioned Rolled Oats Raw? – Christy A: Hi Christy, Hope all is well. I see you are really reading labels! Good job! I love seeing people taking more responsibility for their health. In response to your question about the quaker old fashioned rolled oats…they are not raw. If they are raw they will say “Raw” on the package. Your best bet is at your local whole foods store. Usually the raw version are called “raw groats.” You will not find this kind of product at a “regular” grocery store. My local health food store carries them and the brand is Rob’s Red Mill. This brand carries quite a few raw grains and seeds. Good luck finding what you need. Be sure to check out our rawpeople co-op to see if we have what you are looking for.
