What is a PAS System?
The PAS is a “pedal assist system”. It monitors the rate of pedaling by the rider and engages the motor to assist the rider without the use of the throttle control. By using this feature you can greatly increase the distance traveled per charge. The PAS makes the bike feel effortless to ride while pedaling. You can switch back and forth between using the PAS or the throttle simply by using the throttle and not pedaling, or just simply pedaling and not using the throttle.
