Yes, ShowShifter can play any video format that Windows Media Player can play. By default ShowShifter looks in the ‘Video’ folder on each of your drives in order to list them. This location can be changed using the ‘Read Video Files’ page, details of which are in Readme.html which comes with ShowShifter. A link to ‘Read me’ is under the ShowShifter option on the Windows Start menu. If you are using the recompression feature there is a 4gigabyte restriction on the size of the .avi file.
