Carnie Wilson, one of the members of Wilson Phillips and a daughter to the Mamas and Papas, underwent gastric bypass surgery to lose 150 lbs from her ballooning 300lbs. But when she became pregnant with daughter Lola, all the work she had put in had been lost as she regained all her weight lost. She has become bigger and in fact she did join a celebrity weight loss show where she lost 22 lbs. She intimated in her interviews that she thought she would never return to the place before her gastric bypass surgery and sadly she has returned to that weight. She now is at 208 lbs and wants to lose almost 50 lbs more. She blames snacking as the source of her weight gain. With her little girl as the center of her attention, she has lost the control essential to her weight control. She wants to lose weight again and become pregnant again. The driving force for her to do so is the affirmation that she isn’t a failure but merely got sidetracked with her weight goals.
