How to React to Insults in an Interview?

0

in an interview and a particular company I had worked for previously marked some cynicism from the interviewer. I was informed that being a member of the team of the former employer that I was probably arrogant, lazy and unable to assimilate in any other corporate environment. I immediately felt awkward and tried to continue the interview without a negative reaction to the comment. I responded by saying, “it very was unfortunate that was the impression but I would be hardworking and dedicated in getting the job done”. I also reiterated this by saying I would like to further discuss my qualifications, the potential opportunity and how I could best fit into the organization. The interview slowly began to regain momentum until another interviewer joined in on the discussion. The first interviewer again scolded my former employer and said because of this that I could be a potential risk. I continued to keep my composure and I knew when it was all said and done I was not getting a job offer
