What is an engine oil flush & its purpose?

0

We use a NULON additive which we ad to the engine & leave the engine running between 15-30 minutes prior to draining the old engine oil. The oil flush helps remove oil deposits & oil that has formed into sludge from in-frequent servicing, ensuring as much as possible of the old contaminated oil is drained. Any contaminated oil left in the system can reduce the new oils ability to reduce engine wear & the friction efficiency of the engine. The engines oiling system is the lifeline to the engines internal lubrication system, much like how the blood system is for the human body. Modern engines are designed with internal parts specifically to reduce friction with tighter tolerances. Any deposits can affect an engines running ability over the long term.
