What is Citylights?
Citylights is a new building (finished in late 1997) and development on the East River of Long Island City, New York. It is a 42 (43 if you count the lobby (thanks WT!)) story cooperative building with 522 apartments from studios to 2.5 bedrooms (a convertible den) with balconies. It is 125 m or 410 ft tall and was designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects, Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron Other firms involved in the building were The World-Wide Group, Zeckendorf Realty, Lehrer McGovern Bovis, Inc., Rosenwasser/Grossman Consulting Engineers P.C., Otis Elevator Company, Edison Park Fast.
