How does GRID compare to hardware tokens?
Tokens are substantially more expensive in terms of solution acquisition. Each token is significantly more costly than GRID’s user license. Distribution of tokens is more complex while the GRID Authenticator is distributed to all users over the web. Tokens require proper inventory management and routine device maintenance and battery replacements, while the GRID solution requires none of these. In addition, a common token solution is vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks whereas the GRID’s two-way two-factor authentication cannot be circumvented by such attacks.
