The bars consist of bungee cord covered with a food-grade custom extruded plastic tube. The bungee cord is secured by round screw eyes at the top, middle and bottom. The tube is there for safety and cosmetic reasons. The flexible bars prevent kids from getting their heads stuck or wrapped up in the elastic cord.
