The CORE (gl-cor) module and numerous extension modules: Advanced US/UK (gl-usk) Business facts (gl-bus) Multicurrency (gl-muc) Tax Audit File (gl-taf) are Recommendations from XBRL International. These are done and ready to use. Additional extension modules are in design to expand upon XBRL GLs presentational power. Currently available as a public working draft is the Summary Reporting Contextual Data (SRCD) module, for enhanced linkages between XBRL GL and XBRL (or non-XBRL schemas) for end reporting. The current modules are done. Future updates to these modules will be limited and the needs of current implementers taken into account.
