What is an Ethereal Shabti?
An Ethereal Shabti is a celestial figurine that each sailor soldier has. It represents the sailor soldier’s guardian spirit and contains their ability to be reborn into the next life. Normal humans have a Shabti too, just not an Ethereal Shabti, as each Ethereal Shabti is connected to their specific sailor soldier mentally as well as genetically, causing the sailor soldier to be reborn genetically the same as they were in their past life. The mental connection between the sailor soldier and their prospective Ethereal Shabti allows the Ethereal Shabti to store away memories of the past until they are needed.
