Is solar heat profitable?
Our heat demand is covered by various energy sources, which are currently also (either directly or indirectly) supported or subsidized. The safeguarding of our energy demand plays a role of every-increasing importance. But also the question of environmental compatibility becomes more and more urgent. Realistically assessed, there are indicators for a higher demand and consequently also higher prices for the classical sources of energy. When and under which conditions solar heat will be profitable from an economic perspective is difficult to forecast. If you look at the price development during the past two years (and its background), than this could be the case quite soon. But also if you do not take this perspective, solar energy is already today worth its price. It makes us independent of supply bottlenecks, abandonment of nuclear energy and price policy.
