How does the TOEFL® ITP test differ from the other TOEFL® testing programmes?
The TOEFL® test is available in two ways: through the “official” international testing program and through the Institutional Testing Program (ITP). Under the official program, the test is administered in three formats: computer-based, paper-based and internet-based testing. Individual applicants register for the test, submit the proper fee, and may request that official copies of their scores be sent to designated institutions and agencies. The TOEFL® ITP is administered by educational institutions on their premises and scores from these tests are reported only to the testing institution.
