The way ports are connected and disconnected is different on the DSP404 than it has been on the earlier RLC controllers. Please read the first few pages of Chapter 2 in the manual to get the details and see Using Port Groups for an example. It is easiest to set up the port connections (port group members) using RCI (the PC software), but it can also be done via DTMF commands using command 017. Command 000 should not be used (as it was with earlier RLC controllers).
