Who will pay payroll taxes?
Angel Companions will be responsible for withholding and remitting State and Federal Income tax, Federal Unemployment tax, Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes on behalf of the caregivers we provide. If the caregiver you may select is not a covered employee of the Home Care Agency, or if you obtain such person directly on your own, that caregiver may be considered your employee, and you may be responsible for withholding and reporting State and Federal Income tax, Federal Unemployment tax, Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes on behalf of that caregiver going back to the time of first employment.
