This means you don’t have to select a primary care physician or need a referral when seeking treatment from a specialist. The Plan allows you the ability to see almost any doctor you choose, and covers you if you want to see an out-of-network provider. If you choose to see an out-of-network provider, be aware that your benefits will be reduced. When you choose a PPO provider, costs to you are reduced and you will receive a higher benefit level.
