Alternate Ads are used in place of Advertising.com Sponsored Listings House Ads when the Advertising.com Sponsored Listings system cannot serve targeted ads to your web page. This allows you to ensure that your advertising space is always being used efficiently. The Alternate URLS section lets you define what ads should be used in case Advertising.com Sponsored Listings isn’t able to match relevant ads to your page. You can provide a URL for a 3rd party ad serving network (such as DoubleClick or Google). You can also define House Ads. These are used in cases where Advertising.com Sponsored Listings is unable to match relevant ads to your pages and Alternate URL ads have not been defined. The House Ads section allows you the option of creating your own ads to promote affiliate pages or internal pages on your website.
