I have done a little digging around to this question as well. Here are some sites that I found on my own puppy search.

Just because a puppy is registered with the Kennel Club, doesn’t mean the breeder is trustworthy. It’s up to you to do your research and decide if they are reputable and responsible. Breeders aren’t “registered” with the Kennel Club – unless you mean that they are an Accredited Breeder which should mean that they abide by certain requirements: http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/215… This is the code of ethics which members of the Beagle Association sign up to: http://beagleassociation.org/#/code-of-e… Make sure any breeder you buy from has these points as a minimum standard and aren’t just breeding for the sake of it.
