RTE member can be converted to Council Member ?
The criteria for conversion of Membership of the Council from Registered Textile Exporter to Member (Council) are as follows: Manufacturing of any kind of goods mentioned in Object 1 of Clause 3 of the Memorandum of Association of the Council, with an installed capacity of at-least 6000 (Six Thousand) spindles and an annual export Turnover whether by way of direct exports or exports through exporters of aforesaid articles (but excluding exports of any kind of apparel or Garments) of at least Rs.50/- Lakhs (Rupees Fifty Lakhs) or Processing including weaving of any kind of goods mentioned in Object No.1 of Clause 3 of Memorandum of Association of the Council with an annual turnover of such articles of at least Rs.7.5 Crores and an annual export turnover whether by way of direct exports or exports through exporters of such articles (but excluding any kind of apparel or garments) of at least Rs.50/- Lakhs (Rupees Fifty Lakhs).
