WHAT IS THE AP BIOLOGY EXAM? The AP Biology exam is a three-hour exam designed to test knowledge of a year of introductory, college-level biology. The first section of the exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, while the second section of the exam consists of four essay questions.
