What is the VPF ENUM Registry?
The VPF ENUM Registry is based on the IETF ENUM Standards – using standard DNS architecture. ENUM describes the method of mapping a telephone number to a URI (such as sip://12125555555@company.com). Numbers that are registered in the VPF ENUM Registry can be queried and terminated at no cost, allowing calls to stay within the IP domain and completely bypass the PSTN.
