What is a coin appraisal?
An appraisal is a “snapshot” assessment of what you have and how much it is worth at that moment in time. It is simply documenting, assessing, and evaluating the contents and value of your coin collection. It is important to note that many factors contribute to the monetary fluctuation of your collection. These factors include the price per ounce of gold or silver, age/date of the coin, condition of the coin, and the number of coins produced.
