What is the best natural remedy to take for slightly high blood pressure?
I will agree with the others that have mentioned you need to have your BP monitored if it is above 140/90. If it is consistently and dangerously high, then you will need to seriously consider taking anti-hypertensives. However, some “natural remedies” to high blood pressure are light exercise, healthy weight loss (if over weight), reduced sodium intake, eliminating caffeine, quit smoking, limit alcohol consumption, and balanced diet. You can consult with an Acupuncturist/Herbalist, a Certified Nutritionist, or a Naturopathic Practitioner about treatments, diets, and natural herbal supplements that can help lower high blood pressure. It is important, so I say this again, you absolutely need to have your BP monitored. Let your doctor know that you want to pursue other alternatives for maintaining your BP.
