What is GTA 4 (Grand Theft Auto IV) like?
It’s pretty much like previous GTA games, only less over the top. Some things are more realistic, like the speed characters walk and the way that cars handle. The plot and missions are also more down to earth; no more burning down marijuana fields with flamethrowers or stealing jetpacks from the government. The cutscenes are a lot cooler, and the city has a lot more personality; it’s incredibly important to the game, and you can tell that they actually considered the city when coming up with the plot and vice versa, rather than just plopping the protagonist down into Generic City, USA. However, the gameplay is pretty much the same, albeit a bit slowed down. You can either use auto-aim to lock onto enemies or manually target them yourself. Cars handle a little clunkier. Cops can be harder to escape from, and you can’t just hop in a Pay and Spray to lose them (and even if you do happen to find one, if they see you go in, it won’t work). Some missions are also incredibly long and complex,
