Need opinions on source of oil leak…?

0

I have a 2003 F150 Supercrew FX4 with 139,000 miles, and I found a 3″ puddle of oil on my garage floor today. I found that the torque converter housing was oily on the passenger side (this has been oily for a long time now, but it hasn’t dripped any on the ground until now.) There is no oil around any of the bolts on the oil pan. I found that it was oily under the exhaust manifold on the driver side (not dripping, but just oily), but it seems fine around the oil filter. I was unable to find any evidence of an oil leak from under the hood or around the valve covers. What would be showing if this was a head gasket leak? I had always suspected that I had a very very slight rear main seal leak, but now I just doin’t know. I cleaned the puddle up and I have not seen any new oil on the ground in a few hours. The dipstick showed I was slightly above min. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Austin A: If you had a head gasket leak, there would likely be coolant
