How will HD radio benefit KDHX?
HD Radio will greatly enhance the sound quality of KDHX programming. Digital radio will not only provide CD quality sound to our broadcasts but will provide a clear, clean signal with no interfering sounds such as hissing or static. The great thing about HD radio is the ability to “multicast.” Public and community radio stations around the country are hailing HD radio as a means to expand the ability of providing public service programming. KDHX will be able to expand its mission of building community through media by having multiple broadcasts.
