Doesn the Bible say astrology is evil?
The King James Version of the Bible says:Genesis 1:14-15 – “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years…”Where astrologers are specifically noted in the KJV (mostly in the book of Daniel), it’s almost exclusively to say that they’re not up to the task of solving the problems they’re being asked to address, which would seem to me to be more of an indication of the quality of Nebuchadnezzar’s practitioners than astrology itself. It seems worth noting here that Christianity has only called astrology into question in the last 100 to 200 years, and in fact the apocryphal texts, removed by order of King James during the course of the translation he commissioned, speak of Jesus making prophecies based upon the stars.
