Why Study TEFL?
One of the most marketable Master’s degrees one can have today is the M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, TEFL. Having an M.A. in TEFL literally opens up the world to those wishing to stay in their culture and teach the many people coming from other places, or those interested in exploring professional opportunities in other cultures. The majority of the students in the TEFL program are from Egypt, while most others are from North America. However the TEFL program gladly accepts TEFL candidates from all over the world. You don’t have to be a linguist to join our program. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds. Our program is designed for those with or without previous teaching experience. We also expect, however, that your English language proficiency is adequate for graduate work and for teaching the language at various levels.
