What is Orange Torpedo?
For over 38 years, Orange Torpedo Trips have been in the business of whitewater rafting in some of the Northwestern US’s most famous rivers. But it’s not the exhilarating rapids, breathtaking scenery, and professionally-led rafting tours that make Orange Torpedo Trips such a unique outfitter: It’s how these trips are conducted. Orange Torpedo Trips was the first company in the world to offer white-water rafting trips with inflatable kayaks, called “orange torpedoes”. They designed a guiding style and boat that make white-water rafting a safe and fun activity that even novices can participate in. In southern Oregon on the Rogue River, the Sevylor is now the most commonly used river craft. They are available for rental by virtually every outfitter in the area and sold by almost every retailer of river craft in this part of the United States.
