How do Anglicans worship?
The worship of the Anglican Church follows the general liturgy, or worship ritual, of traditional Christianity using the glorious language of the English book of Common Prayer. Visitors often comment on the devout nature of our worship, combined with lively singing. First and foremost, our worship is a joyful celebration of the love of God and His Son Jesus Christ. Our ways are ancient and our faith is unchanging. We stand on the Rock of Jesus Christ as He has been made known to us in the teaching of the Holy Apostles, the Holy Church, and the Holy Bible. We stand on this rock in the midst of the turbulent sea of the ever-changing world around us, and we offer you this firm foundation in order that you may have the peace which the world cannot give; the peace of which passes man’s understanding.
