Why Yoruba home videos?
I am Yoruba and if you look at the history of film production in this country, it started with Yoruba films before the Igbo came on the scene. In 1990, when I joined the business, Yoruba home videos were the rave. What about music Actually, in 1990 when I stated marketing video films, I was selling audio cassettes as well. In fact, music is like a second nature to me. In 1995, I promoted an album, I was the only one to promote and market music before other marketers came into it. The album was by Sokoya Oyingbo and since then I have picked an avid interest in music promotions. I have promoted Iyabo Osanle, Tope Nautical, Wasiu Aiku, among others. I have also marketed up to a hundred home video films. I have been involved in the film entitled Afisuru by Fathia Balogun and Gbadegesin mi, written by me.
