What do the “Points on the charts mean?
Our chart system is very simple right now – and is based on a total number of points each track gets within the last 7 days (including the current day). A Download = 3 points, a HiFi Stream = 2 points, and both a download and stream of a preview = 1. These are then totaled up then sorted to provide the chart order. At a later time, we will also integrate a voting system so you can also see what people actually thought about the music. Charts based on ‘consumption’ only are nearly useless.
