function popitopen( theURL ) { winHandle = window.open( theURL, “popwindow”, “scrollbars=no,width=300,height=125” ) ; } A: The official NYIT logo was adopted September 1, 1999 and replaces all others that came before it. At that time, we began replacement of all stationery, signage, printed materials, advertisements, collateral materials, etc. marked with former logos. That process is essentially complete, although some old materials may have been missed. To help in the conversion effort, please let us know of any materials (signs, forms, etc.) you may see with improper logos. You can e-mail us at logopolice@nyit.edu. The official NYCOM logo, incorporating the new NYIT imaging, was adopted in early 2000 and, likewise, replaces all former NYCOM logos. See Basic Elements/Logo for the most up-to-date references.
