What is the CIEH?
CIEH is a professional and educational body that is dedicated to the promotion of environmental health. It seeks to promote the highest possible standards in the training and work of environmental health professionals. The CIEH advises government departments on environmental health and safety, and is consulted by them on proposed legislation relevant to the work of environmental health professionals. The CIEH is the professional body for Environmental Health Officers. In their role as an awarding body they offer qualifications at various levels in food hygiene, health and safety, environmental protection and training skills.
